    I was very pleasantly surprised how after only a few days I began to feel the benefit, I am 80 years old and have been unable to bear the pain of kneeling, the other day my cat �stole� my pen and pushed it under the tv stand, I actually got on my knees to retrieve it, not easy but I managed and that is after a couple of weeks.
    I had read an article by a doctor who said turmeric alone is ineffective, it requires black pepper so that was what made me buy it, I have had cheaper weaker brands before and they made no difference to the pain level.

I read up and saw that stomach problems were a possible side effect of turmeric, so I stopped taking them. Within three to four days the stomach ache went away, and the pills went in the bin!
